The attached financial reports present the district’s financial position and activity for the current fiscal year through January 21, 2026. Together, the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows provide a complete picture of both year-to-date activity and the district’s overall financial health.

This Records Retention Policy establishes guidelines for the retention, maintenance, and disposition of records created or received by the Linne Community Services District (CSD). The policy is intended to ensure compliance with California law, promote transparency, support efficient operations, and protect the District in the event of audits, litigation, or public records requests.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LINNE COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT ADOPTING BOARD BYLAWS

Pursuant to our telephone conversation of May 5 , 1999, below
you will find various code sections relating to the
District's authority to erect and maintain traffic control
devices. The key sections are:
(1) Vehicle Code S21104 (2"d paragraph);
(2) Vehicle Code S21100 (d) ;
(3) Vehicle Code $440 (defining official traffic control
devices); and
(4) Vehicle Code S21400 - 21401 (Caltrans Rules and
Regulations).

Please advise the Board of Directors of the Linne Community
Services District that on March 5, 1996, I had a telephone
conversation with Paul Hood regarding the Linne Community
Services District. As a result of that conversation Mr. Hood is
retrieving the annexation file from storage at Camp San Luis for
further review. As of the writing of this letter the file has
not arrived at the LAFCO Commission.
Please accept the following as my initial opinions as to the
authority of the District over its roads:
Source of Authority:
§ 61600 of the Government Code outlines the powers that a
Community Services District can exercise within its boundaries.
The Linne Community Services District derives its general
authority over its roads from § 61600 (j) of the Government Code

The Community Services District was formed August 8, 1979, for the purpose of providing 
road maintenance and fire protection to the area. Shortly thereafter, an assessment 
for these services was levied upon each parcel within the district.

RESOLUTION FORMING LINNE COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT

The following resolution is hereby offered and read:
WHEREAS, following submittal of petitions signed by 64% of the
registered voters requesting formation of a community services district,
the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Luis Obispo County by
Resolution No. 79-6: dated June 7, 1979, approved formation of Linne
Community Services District
